Focus topic in February: Being yourself
Who are you? Now. Today.
Who do you want to be? Tomorrow.
Would you say, you are showing up and embodying your true self? Yes? Maybe, sometimes? You are not so sure?
We are embedded in social norms, value systems and roles. During our upbringing, we have inhaled how to behave and how not to, what to believe and think about the world and yourself. Is this understanding in line with your own sense of yourself?
Let’s explore our human essences of being oneself and perhaps make aware some hesitancies or resistance to fully own who you feel you are. Join us on a 120min exploration journey shedding light on who we are when no one is looking and who we pretend to be in the light of others.
What to expect?
Authentic Relating is embodied communication practice. We search for authenticity – staying true to your needs, feelings and boundaries – while relating to other human beings with their needs, feelings and boundaries. During the session you will be guided through the exercises and interactions. Most of them will be based on talking with another person in a framed way. You can experience the nourishing moment of someone who looks you in the eye for a bit longer than just a nano-second. And fully let this feeling rise up in your body. Sensing into what it feels to be you in the light of another. Pausing and fully embracing the moment of being in connection with another human. Sounds intriguing?

The event is donation based. Cash only, no registration needed.
Suggested donation: 8-20 €. No one will be turned away due to the lack of funds.
What to bring?
You will be asked to take off your shoes, thus we recommend to bring some warm socks. Other than that: Nothing but you. You have everything you need to take part in this experience of human connection.
Everyone is welcome to join. No previous experience with Authentic Relating Practices needed.

Who are we?
We are Ulli & Paweł, we met at ART International Authentic Relating Training course in Berlin and decided to do something together. We are both passionate about human connections and want to share this passion with others.
Ulli is a coach and trainer for interpersonal communication and collaboration. She helps teams and individuals to get unstuck, feel better and unfold their full potential. Her focus lies in supporting people to find self-confidence and calm when having to deal with “difficult” people in the workplace. She completed Authentic Relating training (Level 1-3) with ART International and has fallen in love with this approach of deep human connection.
Paweł is a performing artist, event producer and (neuro)queer activist, often working with people and creating communities. He did Authentic Relating Training Level 1 & 2 and Authentic Leadership Program with ART International as well as Circling and Surrendered Leadership group with Transformational Connection (fka Circling Europe). Since 2016 he regularly practices contact improvisation and somatics.
